I have an intermittent problem with the door lock switch, window switches (driver side) and mirror control switch. I left my house this morning with all switches working. When I got to my destination, none worked, (The remote switch and the passenger side switch both work, so there is power available). When I got home this afternoon, they were not working. About thirty minutes ago I went out to the truck and the switches were working.
I am wondering if there is a loose ground wire in the circuit feeding those switches.
If you agree, where do you suggest looking? At the fuse box?
Any advice you can give will be much appreciated.

Thank you, Edwin Broesche

It is more likely that you have a broken wire in the harness at the door jam. You would have to follow a wiring diagram to test what is missing on which wire.

Thanks for the help. I was able to find a broken wire in the cable harness and spliced it back together. Everything works now.
