Hello,
I am wondering if anyone can identify the missing part of my car listed above (EX model) by the pictures? The missing part is on the driver's side chassis where the door closes. When I turn a corner or go over a big bump the car beeps. Also the interior lights do not come on automatically when you open/close the door so I assume this missing part or perhaps a sensor is responsible for that also. Any help would be wonderful.

I'm pressing the add image button but I can't see an image load so hope it does or this post.

The picture didn't appear in my question so have used the reply field to add the image of the missing part.

Hi Kimanie,

Yes. This missing component is the door switch. Here is a video of the same issue you have however, the cause is a little different. The reason I attached it is it gives a good shot of the switch and what it should do.

Clearly this needs to be replaced and then retest the system. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks
