Battery was hooked up backwards. Fixed everything but I cannot get any of the passenger doors to lock or unlock using the door button or key fob. The rear hatch still locks and unlocks though. Dealership told me I was on my own after charging me $250.00. Had another mechanic bill of $1,600.00 and he could not figure it out either. Do not know what to do. If I keep throwing that kind of money at it I will never get it back when I sell it.

What was all the work the dealer and the other mechanic did?
I see the same tan wire that feeds the left rear door latch also feeds both on the passenger side, so I would assume the passenger side latches are getting power from that wire. But, I see the light green/dark blue wire only feeds them passenger side latches for lock. That motor or latch appears to be a reversible motor so both of them wires serve as both hot and ground, so they both have to work. I suspect it is the light green/dark blue wire that has the problem. I would disconnect all the connections on that wire at the instrument cluster and both passenger side door latches and use an ohmmeter and check if that wire is open, shorted or grounded. It should read under about 5 ohms.

The dealership thought that the door locks were controlled by the instrument cluster and since FCA no longer manufactures those for my make and model than they said I am on my own. They did no work other than diagnostics. Had another mechanic replace the alternator and fusible link and checked all fuses. He billed me for way less hours than he had into it looking for and calling people trying to figure it out. I live in rural Wyoming and the selection of certified mechanics with knowledge of all of today's electrical gadgets are far and few between. I am just glad I do not own a vehicle with heated and cooled cup holders, steering wheels and all the gadgets 98% of people really do not need. Who really lives in their car?

Whom is FCA?
The dealer charged you $250.00 to look at a wiring diagram?
I see them wires do come from the instrument cluster, too.
A quick look at the wiring diagram would have told that, I do not know why they would charge $250.00 for that.
Anyhow, for now, like I said I suspect it is the light green/dark blue wire that has the problem. I would disconnect all the connections on that wire at the instrument cluster and both passenger side door latches and use an ohmmeter and check if that wire is open, shorted or grounded. It should read under about five ohms.
