Door lock actuator

I watched your video on how to replace the door lock actuator, but I am having a problem removing the exterior handle rod (I think you refer to it as the lock control rod). The top rod has a nipple on the end and I cannot get it to budge. Any advise would be helpful.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros. Com.

I am not 100% sure which part you are referring to. I have attached two pictures. The first one is of the lock actuator which will have a rod attached. This rod assembly is removed by taking out three torx screws from the assembly (see picture). The second picture is an exploded view of the entire door. Look through it and let me know what part you are referring to if it is something other than what I mentioned.

Also, if you can take a picture of the part you are having trouble removing, it would be very helpful.
