The remote door lock will not lock doors?

The remote door lock will not lock doors. Will open doors and trunk. Already replaced the driver's side actuator. Hyundai diagnosed that the master switch shorted out. Can I repair myself since they want $1,000 to repair?

They don't give that away, do they? Sure, you can replace the master switch yourself. You will need to remove the door panel which I have included instructions for as well. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Ken,

Does the master window switch also include the operations of the door locks? All the references I find for the master door lock switch always include the window switch. How and where would I find the correct replacement part? Thanks for your help.

I don't see the door locks doing much in the window switch, it just has the door lock switch, but that could be bad so that is why they wanted to change it out. I see the IPS control unit which would be the brains of the operation inside the smart junction box. Here are the wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens. Just search google or Ebay for the part.
