So the other day I was about to hop out of my car and at the same time, myself and my mate pulled the door handle at the same time, now the door won't open at all. Lock is stuck on, what do I do?

Hello,

So your vehicle is not in our manuals, obviously because you guys are in Australia and we are in America, but i got this information from a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria, which would be the closest vehicle we would have to a Fairlane. But this concept I think is pretty universal anyway. You guys have to get access to the door lock actuator by removing the door trim. Then you should be able to run a hot jumper wire from the battery (+) to one lead on the actuator and a ground wire to the other and unlock the lock. I have included the precise directions in the diagrams down below. Please get back to us with what you guys find out.

Thanks,
Alex
