How about the oil drain plug? Couldn't I just mark it and return it to the mark so it's the same as it was?

Hi,

No. If you mark it, you can realign the mark but won't know if the tightness is correct. It may require one more turn or one less turn.

I do have the torque specs for the oil pan drain plug. See pic 1. (20 Ft. Lbs)

Let me know if this helps.

If I use a beam style torque wrench I could check the torque just try to move the bolt any further before taking it off.

Hi,

That should work. See what the torque is right before it breaks loose.

Let me know if I can help.

First, you are very welcome. Second, the torque specs are broken down by repair. For example, if you are replacing a cylinder head, it will give the specs related to that job.

If you have a specific thing, I can try to find it. Just let me know what it is.

Take care,
Joe

Hi,

Okay, that's really vague. EPC stands for electronic power control. Basically, it covers the computerized ignition and engine management system and other things such as ABS, cruise control, and so on. Have you scanned the computer for codes?

Most times, this acronym is used for VW/Audi vehicles. If possible, let me know what specifically you are dealing with.

Hi,

First, you are very welcome. If you feel uncomfortable with it, you should walk away. Remember the old saying, Buyer Beware. LOL Unless you can get it for a price you can lose money on, it may not be a good choice.

Take care and let me know if I can help in any way.
