dont wanna go when given gas

Check the ignition timing and fuel pressure if it within specification -start here

Does the car run fine for a while in park/neutral then when placed in gear stalls immediatly? I have seen a few transmissions have the solenoid to the torque converter stick in the applied position which won't allow it to slip sitting still. this problem can be corrected pretty easy but need to be sure of problem. Ammco professes a free check if the answer is yes. What happened before all this began? did anyone work on it prior? were there any other things going on or did it just happen all of a sudden? Hope this either helps or gets you a little more curious. Don't give up.
