When hooking up off-road lights I popped the IOD fuse. I replaced the fuse and that is when the problem started. I cannot figure out for the life of me why they stay on. The only way to get them off is to pull the fuse.

The headlight switch controls these lights also there are switches on the lock assemblies in the doors.

These two lamps are part of the courtesy lamp circuit so we need to start with checking the door jam switches. However, I would suggest we also go around and check the other lamps on this circuit to see if they are on as well. If they are not on then the door jam switch is not the issue. I included a wiring diagram that has the other lamps that we need to check.

If these are not on then we need to find out how you hooked up the off road lamps. What circuit did you tie into and are they functioning properly?

Let me know this info and we can go from there.

I attached the testing and replacement of the door ajar switches in the event you find other lamps on as well. Thanks
