We were driving and the A/C was working fine until the dog hit the auto A/C button and dual passenger button at same time, and now A/C won't work. It's just blowing hot air. Check the ac button and it was still lit, tried turning on/off auto A/C, tried hitting dual button on/off, tried both at same time, changed modes and temps but nothing gets the cold air blowing again. A/C worked great before he hit the buttons. So, is there some way to reset the controls to fix this? Or any other ideas?

Funny Dog! Let's try to rest the system by disconnecting the battery overnight. If that doesn't work you can try a hard reboot which is done by removing the negative side of the battery, with the cable loose from the negative side of the battery, hold it to the positive terminal for 1 minute this will discharge the memory capacitors in the BCM and PCM allowing the system to reboot. Please let me know what happens.

Let's check the fuses and if okay we need to do a CAN scan, these guides can help:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

and

Here is one for about $99.00 if you need it:

Here are the fuse locations, in the images below. You might have an IPDM that is out. Please let us know what happens.
