Code u0 101, does not start?

Hi,

Is that the only code present? Also, does the starter engage? The U0101 is a transmission control module (TCM) communication error. See pic below. I wouldn't think that would prevent the engine from starting, but anything is possible.

Note that in the pic, the code is followed by two additional numbers. By chance, did you notice those numbers when it was scanned?
