2000 Dodge Viper Two Wheel Drive Manual 12000 miles

i have a srt 10 with no oil pressure i have checked it with a gauge and that is saying what it says electrical that is has no oil pressure the pump looks ok and both the oil pressure releaf vaules are ok i did find a peace of metal in the sump but cannot see where it has come from have you had a fault like this before on this engine.

No oil pressure at all-recheck the oil pump and inspect engine bearings
