The van started to make a clicking sound once in a while when backing up. Reverse quit working and the clicking sound was gone. we have drove it probably for 10000 miles without a problem other than no reverse. I had carquest pull any codes that the computer was showing, but the only code was P0443 for emissions. You can put the van in reverse just fine, you can feel it ingage, if you push a little, it goes back fairly easily while in gear, just not on its own power. I don't think anything is broke in the transmission, or it would have caused problems by now. Any ideas?

If it is only reverse, have the low reverse band checked. It could be out of adjustment or broken.

Let me know what you find.
