1997 Dodge Van Door locks

I hooked up a remote start unit to my 97 Dodge Van & when i wired the door lock part of it something happened to the down(lock) part of the switch. What could be wrong ? Thanks Nick

Well what happened? I do believe it is all part of the bus communication system. For automatic locking issues the computers all want to know if they are locked or not, and when to lock them. Did you get your circuit properly by a schematic?
