Would you agree that having water in your oil doesn't always mean a blown head gasket?
Would you agree that water in the oil could also be caused by a blown intake manifold gasket?

Yes, I would agree with both of those statements but only if you have a "V" configuration engine which you do have. In-lines don't have that problem.
