Where is the fuel regulator for a 1988 dodge conversion van 5.2 liter.
If I unhook the hose coming from it and turn the key and no fuel comes out is it defective.

The fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel rail

Its not suppose to leak if so then its defective -To check the fuel pressure use a fuel gauge and hook it up to the fuel rail test port to rule out a defective fuel pump
