The picture of the engine stays on the gauge are. Wouldn't accelerate over 30 mph and then quit running. Replaced the fuel filter and still won't stay running. I can restart but will rev up to 2200 rpm but will die. Feels like I have no control of the throttle . Any ideas on what else to check would be greatly appreciated, Thanks .

If the check engine light is on, there is a code stored in the computer. What I need you to do is take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. It will help identify where the problem is coming from.

Do that and let me know what you find.
