2004 Dodge Truck stumbles on acceleration

diesel stumbles or hesitates upon acceleration. ease into the throttle and just past idle it will hesitate and act like it is going to die for a split second or two then picks up and does find no loss of power. could this be a tps or fuel pump

TPS would be most likely if pump you would have performance issues.
