At 55.000 I changed the front pads. There was a small groove in the right front rotor. The truck had a shake when braking. I was thinking it was the groove in the rotor. It got real bad at 66,000 miles so I looked and the groove is gone. The pads have a lot of pad left. But everything looked dry. So I greased the silver clips and caliper bolts. It stopped shaking when braking till the next day. Now it will shake when braking at 40mph and up below 40mph it will not shake. thanks for any help.

Hi there,

If you can feel this through the brake peal as a pulsation as well, you will need to have the rotors machined.
