2004 Dodge Truck hopping or skipping from rear end

i have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 4.7 i'm getting a skipping or hopping from the rear end when i am stoped and have to make a left or right turn, also get a whinning noise from the rear end when i backup

If the gear lube was changed, a bottle of whale oil additive must be added to the new lube. The dealer has this in their parts department.
