2004 Dodge Truck diesel engine idles rough in drive, not on

engine idles rough while atop on light etc. it appears that RPM drops below 600 and than surges to 1000RPM. rough stating when cold.
Trucks runs normal in high way at normal speed
roguh in city driving.

Any smoke? could be an injector that is going bad and wont work well at low engine speeds.Definitly want to find a Diesel shop and have them look at it, those engines dont like having mixture issues, it does internal damage
