i CHECKED THE BULB AND THE RUNNING LIGHT WORKS BUT THE BRAKE LIGHT DOES NOT

Welcome to the forum, did you use a testlite to check for voltage at the suspect brake lite, white wire with lite green tracer. The brake signal goes to the instrument cluster, the instrument cluster sends a buss signal to the front control module. The front control module sends voltage to the lamp. If there are any codes, it might point you in the right direction?
