I was going to put a locking gas cap on truck due to gas prices. I know some vehicles have a check valve to keep someone from siphoning gas. Does the 2001 Dodge Ram have that?

It has roll over protection valves. They would stop a large hose but a smaller one will fit in the tank. Also if you look in the wheel well you will see the fill line is right out in the open. One slash with a knife will defeat the locking cap. Or they could just punch a hole in the plastic tank. A locking cap will only stop a lazy thief.
