When i turn my steering wheel to either left or right i have a noise i can best describe to my knowledge as the sound of like a yelping dog, as well as a little bit of grinding noise i was wondering if it was the powersteering gear box?[img:91284b1184]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/323498_Picture_021_1.jpg[/img:91284b1184]

Need to inspect your power steering fluid level. Also inspect drive belt around power steering pump to ensure it is tight.

Does this noise only occur when the wheel is cut completely left or right? or during turning at all? If it does it with any slight turn of the wheel and your fluid level is OK, I would suspect a faulty power steering pump.
