2001 Dodge Truck kickdown problems acceleration past 55.

My truck will run fine untill you are at 55 or 60 and when you try to accelerate, it will kick down to 2nd or 3rd gear. i dont know why it does it but it is killing me on gas.

take it to a trans pro and he can scan and see if there is aproblem code popping up. He may also have or check to see if ther eis a broken wire as well.
