Frm hoggharley big job check this out same thing happen to me I checked my radiator I saw that there was water flow so then I knew that it was not plugged up I bought a flush kit put it on one of my heater hoses took radiator cap of hooked up the garden hose up started trk let all the fliud come out till I had only awter comeing out took flush kit off drained radiator plug is on drivers side took bottom hose of radiator off let that drain put it back on fill with 2 1/2 gallons of staight antifreeze the rest water I got heat just lie new again check out autozone. Com check out specks on your truck its free they have a trouble shooting guide also you will be very pleased with that site let me know what happens frm john at hoggharley@comcast. Net also the heater core is located pass side behind the dash if you have to do it you will save abought 1,0000 dollars go to the libary and look at the auto repair books it will show you how to do it abought a 6 hr job at home good luck
