have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 and the u joint on the front axel went out how do i get the hub and axel apart to replace the u joint

Hi:
replacing the axle joints is an involved process. I recommend you purchase a manual that provides directions and pictures to help identify parts. For me to try and explain it via the internet provides too much room for error.
