What is the procedure for replacing the upper control arm bushings? Can I do it myself, or does it have to be done by a dealer or repair shop?
I've just replaced the ball joints and noticed that the bushings are very dry, brittle and cracked.

You might be able to, but you'll need the sleeves to press em, and the ball joint press, Autozone might have them for rent, or you can try buying the complete arm and installing it!

It does require some tools you mat not have.
Ball joint seperator
Air hammer
The joint is pressed in spindle.
The bushings are pressed into control arm and can be air chiseled out but you have to press them.
Then there is the alignment.
If they are cracked a little they maybe O.K. As long as there is no movement is there bushing left between arm and A frame? If so they should be all right.
Hope this helps you in your decession
