1997 Dodge Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Manual

'97 3500 Cummins
drove, parked, next day started no power steering. Resivour full, no leaks, no noise, no dead cats under the hood hahahaha-

IS there any noise coming from the pump? If you open the PS cap, do you see the fluid circulating?

This is a tough one to identify not being there, but I'll try to help.

pulled the spool valve at the pressure outlet side of the pump, screen was almost blocked. Cleaned, replaced, filled, started, lock to locked steering twice, shut down, refilled, works great. The "big red book" made no mention of this screen in the troubleshooting.

Thanks again for your help, I won't hesitate to use you folks again.
