Especially in colder weather, when started, the truck dies right after starting if foot is not kept on the foot feed. After it warms up some, it will finally idle. If driven before it is really warmed up, it will die when comming to a stop, or taking foot off of foot feed. But after idyling or driving more, the problem goes away. Don't seem to have the problem as bad in the summer.

idle air control valve is no good or the throttle body is plugged with carbon causing idle air control valve not to work. the idle is computer controlled on this engine and the valve that controls it will open when the engine is cold to allow for more air entering the engine and when it warms up the valve will close, this is why the problem is gone when hot.
