Electrical problem
1995 Dodge Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic
Just replaced head gaskets and after reassembly have no fire to coil. Scan tool says no signal from dist to pcm.

Welcome to the forum, do you have primary voltage to the coil, dark green wire with orange tracer, engine cranking. The cam sensor is in the distributor, three wire connector, ref voltage-- signal-- ground.

In answer to your question yes there is fire on the green and orange wire for a short period of time while cranking also fire when the fuel pump relay is activated when the key is turned on.

While cranking it should be hot all the time. If your losing ground at the asd and fuel pump relay. I'd have to check wiring circuits at the cam and crank sensors.
