My clutch makes a very loud squeaking niose when I step down on it to change gear. It only happens when the temp is cold out. can you tell me what causes that. Thanks

Hi there, this sounds like the thrust bearing is dry. To test slowly push clutch in untill noise starts, push further noise may go away or stay untill pressure released, there is no way to lube this bearing, it will slowly get worse and fail, so replace sooner rather than later as it may let you down without notice. Best to get a mechanic to listen to it first to confirm diagnosis.
