1991 Dodge Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic na miles

how do i know that the torqueconverter is in place for remounting and how do i know is still good.the front of my trans all at once started pouring fluid out the front .so im guessing the seal went bad but i need to know the converter is in thr right place how will i know?

The converter is keyed at the end. The keys will fit into the front pump and you will hear it clunk into position. As far as the leak, chances are the seal, but make sure the converter (where the seal rides) isn't worn or damaged. Otherwise, you will be removing the trans again and starting over. If it is worn or damaged, replace it.
