Electrical problem
1989 Dodge Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 170 k miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
after drivin the truck a while, stopped at a station for about 5 minutes and the truck wouldn't start. Daughter called me told me of the problem, it had plenty of gas when i got there so i checked for spark at the plugs and nothing, also no spark at the coil. bought a new coil and the same thing no spark. I have a repair book for the truck but i get lost in the terms they use.

you may need a new crank shaft position sensor in that case, or if it has the proper resistance on it then you may need a new Ignition module.

one of the two should remedy it.
