Electrical problem
1975 Dodge Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1975 dodge cruecab 100
it would turn over but not fire so I replaced the coil and plug wires now when I try to turn it over it clickes and drains the battery, what could the problem be now?

It has been a long time since I got rid of my 75 Dodge power wagon, I remember the same problems, there is a resistor on the firewall next to the brake booster, which comes off of the coil through the distributor you may want to check that for resistance, also that truck has a ignition control module on the firewall on the passenger side those often go bad to.
