I have a 97 Stratus. The steering wheel started shaking two weeks ago. We had a big snow storm where i live. Now there is a knocking noise on the front drive side tire. I've no clue what it could be. I was thinking the CV Joint but my experience w/that is it does it when you are turning not when driving straight. My car shakes and makes this noise whether i am turning or driving straight. Any suggestions please? and maybe an idea on how much it would be to get it fixed? thank you!

i would still look into the cv axle. usually the symptoms that your describing is due to a bad inner cv joint, which will pop all the time and cause the vehicle to vibrate. hope the info helps :)
