Hello,

So, when you turn the key what happens?
Does it make any noise? Does the engine crank?

Typically, with a bad neutral safety switch when you turn the key it will not do anything, no noise.

Here is a helpful guide:

If the engine cranks but not start, then it could be due to no fuel or spark to the engine.
When the key gets turned to the on position does the fuel pump come on? A vehicle can have inadequate fuel pressure due to a bad fuel pressure regulator.
Checking the fuel pressure can narrow down the possible issue. This vehicle should have 58 PSI (+/- 5 PSI) of fuel pressure.

Next check for spark to the plugs.
Take a look at this article it covers what to look for when testing the ignition system:

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
