I have a 2004 Dodge Stratus 6 cylindar. It has the original oragne coolant. I just tested it and it checks out just fine. All the balls in the tester float.

Should I change it anyway since it is obviously 5 years old or is it just a waste of money.

I recommend following the schedule in the owner's manual. Here is what happens. Even though the coolant is still strong, it becomes acidic over the years and causes corrosion and other problems. I change my own every 2 years.
