2004 Dodge Stratus rubber smell when engine is started

It smells like beurning rubber when the engine is started.. I checked all the area around the exhaust and found nothing touching. I am leaning towards a tensioner that might be seizing. Is this covered under thee drivetrain waranty?

I don't believe it is, but I would ask. As far as the tensionier, do you ever get any belt noise?
