I had a right side tie rod and wheel bearing assembly replaced at 100330 miles. I just had to have both done today at 119297 miles. Should they be lubing these parts when they do oil changes. I use the same mechanic and we had a truck that did the same thing! Any thoughts on how long these parts should be lasting?

The new tie rod should have a greasable fitting. However, the OEM one didn't. So from this point on, it should get greased. As far as the wheel bearing, chances are it is a sealed bearing and non-greasable. Also, it wouldn't be part of an oil change service.

Let me know if you have other qusetions.
