car acts like it has a rev limiter at 2400 rpm, throws engine light , but don't know what the code is yet. will run fine until engine reaches operating temperature, then engine light will come on and hesitating starts.

Go to an Auto Zone they will pull codes free. Then post will advise. Also info on recent repairs and other problems. And engine size in Liters
