Dodge stratus has a grinding/rubbing type sound while turning either direction. not sure where to start? CV joint, bearing? How much would it be to have a shop service this issue?

Without knowing the problem, I can't supply an estimate. Have you checked brakes? Also, when you turn, do you hear a clicking sound (CV Joint) or a grinding (Brakes or Wheel Bearing)? Please note, that usually when a wheel bearing goes bad, the sound will come and go when making turns?
