2001 Dodge Stratus Timing alighnment

Do plated links line up?

plated marks line up on the cam shafts but not on the crank shaft it is one link out.also Manuel said that marks on the cam shaft should be at 90 degrees with the plane of the head atdc.However it said that the timing on the crank would be 60 degrees atdc so does this mean that I set the cam @ 90 degrees then to set the crank @60 degrees atdc? thanks for your help.

A lot of confusion on 2.7 what is problem? Are you rebuilding?

No I am not rebuild I am just trying to get car to run.I was just using this car to jump my van it made a funny noise and then ran a few second and stop running.I checked for spark it had none.I was told that the cam shaft sensor and the crank shaft sensor had to send a message to the commuter to give it spark.The car has 125000 on it and has never had an inspection on the timing .Any way I took it down to the timing marks and found that the crank shaft timing mark is off 1 tooth ,booth the cams are on the mark .However the left came is not 90 degrees @ tdc so............ I am wondering if I set the crank timing where it is suppose to be will this correct the left side cam?

Removed timing chain and found that the water pump was very lose I think this is what caused the timing trouble so I bought a tension er and a water pump and I am going to try and align it.
