Gee; when my dome lights don't work on my '88 Grand Caravan, it's a ten-dollar switch, but you, on the other hand, have a car loaded full of complicated, unreliable, unnecessary computers. Your dome light is controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM). Expect an expensive repair for a simple problem.
The good news is you can get one from the salvage yard. Newer cars have computers that must have the software programmed in, and they can't be switched between cars. Is it any wonder they're having trouble selling new cars?
Even though the Body computer is the most common problem, don't overlook a door switch problem. Open one door at a time, then push its switch to see if the light goes off. If the light goes off when you push it, but not with the door closed, the switch can be adjusted by pulling out the center plastic "nail". Pull it out too far, then gently close the door. That will set the adjustment.
