Engine Performance problem
2001 Dodge Stratus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have the 2.7L motor on my stratus and im trying to take off the crankshaft. I guess i have to remove the oil pump first, but theres a gear in front of it that i can move at all. I try a pry bar and it didnt work, i tried a 3 jaw puller and i just have the feeling that the dents on the gear are going to brake. What im suppossed to do to take off the oil pump and remove the crankshaft? thanks.

I believe there is a drift pin that holds it in place. Check for that and let me know what you find.
