Electrical problem
2001 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My 2001 Dodge Stratus headlights only work when I activate the highbeam switch. I checked all the fuses- all are good. Could it be my delay relay or a fusible link?

Welcome to the forum, check fuse circuit 11 and 12, 10 amp, fuse /relay box under the hood. When trying to operate low beams, use testlite on fuse circuit, should be hot. The fuses are for left and right low beams. Even if the fuse is good, has to be voltage on the circuit.

To jdl 123, I have already checked fuses 11 and 12 in the fuse block located on the left-hand dash panel and the fuses in the location under the hood all are good!

To: jdl123. I metered the fuses, no power! By the way, it's fuses 12 & 13 and 13 is a 20amp. Beginning to think it might be in the mult-function switch. Part looks costly! Thanks for help-hoping for more.
