i have an 01 dodge stratus, when i bought the car the heat and ac didn't work i replaced the blower motor the resistor the thermistat i went to the scrap yard and got another control switch and after that the heat worked all winter with no problem, when it got nice out though, i noticed when the ac is on the car sputters when i try to accelerate, i also noticed that after i flush the engine coolent a day or so later the overflow is yellow i smelt it though and it doesn't smell gas or feel like oil, and the problem with accelerating seems to be getting worse, do you think the two can be related and what do you think it is? thanks for any help you can offer.

Have the check engine light come on? Have you checked to see if any coolant is making it into the engine oil or trans?
