1999 Dodge Stratus up shift&down shift

at about 30 mph it wants to up shift & down shift real hard and at hwy speed dose not like to shift into overdrive would like to know if i replace the speed sensor if it would cure the problem

Possibly, but also make sure you have enough tranny fluid.
