1999 Dodge Stratus Steering is jerking

1999 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When we are driving the car the steering is jerking and pulling against the driver. Can you give me an Idea of what the problem may be and the average cost to fix it?

This may just be a loose drive belt, check that first.
