hello.i bought a 99 dodge stratus yesterday from a used car dealer and they told me nothing was wrong with it and when i test drove it everything seemed great.than today it all of a sudden started shifting really hard and makes a weird ticking like noise when its in reverse. please let me know if i got sold a bad car.does that mean my transmission is bad?please let me know asap!! thanks a lot, alicia

Many things can cause this. However, the trans could be bad too. If that is the case, the dealer has the responsibility to tell you. "THe car doesn't meet it's intended purpose." Therefore, you have an arguement. Has the check engine light come on?
